250 ml {250 g}

boiling water

Line muffin tin with paper liners, Heat over to 350F/176C or 175C/347F Mix together dry ingredients sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder,baking soda, salt in large mixing bowl.

Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla, beat on medium speed for one minute or two if doing by hand.

Stir in boiling water. The batter will look very liquidy and thin, this is ok.

Transfer batter to large mixing cup or something with a nice spout, and fill liners 1/2 full with batter.

Bake for 18-22 minutes.

Cool completely on wire rack before frosting.
