German Dumplings

minced meat 3 tablespoons oil |

Boil the potatoes and rice them. Add flour, semolina, egg and salt. Knead it!
Make a roll and cut it into ten equal pieces. Form balls. Fry the minced meat with finely chopped onion in hot oil . Season with salt and pepper . Form the meat to walnut sized balls
Take a dough ball and push it apart in your palm. Put the meat ball on it and make a dumpling. Remember to listen for the POP… there shouldnat be air left inside… but if you canat manage, well… guess what. It doesnat really matter. ;A) cook aem in salted water for 20 min. They should swim and roll over…
And just in case you actually want some sauerkraut with it. Do not buy sweetened sauerkraut. Itas supposed to be sour!! Oh and you can add some small bacon stripes to add flavor. And garlic… And you can pour fry sauce/ gravy over the dumplings.
