Indian Spiced Shrimp appetizer

12 oz {340 g}

raw shrimp, deveined, shell off, tail on

1 tsp {2.9 g}

red pepper flakes

1/2 tsp {0.7 g}

ground cumin

1/2 tsp {1.1 g}

turmeric

1/2 tsp {3.0 g}

salt

1 TBL {14 g}

oil

lemon slices and cilantro leaves, to garnish

Instructions Mix together the red pepper flakes, cumin, turmeric, salt and oil.

Add the shrimp, stir to mix and leave to marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the shrimp. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until cooked, turning over halfway through cooking time.

Serve, garnished with lemon slices and cilantro leaves.
