First place heavy bottom non-stick skillet on medium low heat. It will get up to temp as rest of ingredients are prepped. (Also start tea or coffee :-))

In microwave safe 1L measuring cup melt for approx 1 minute.

potato starch (reduce gluten level)(!11.1% !)

1 1/2 TBL {19 g}

sugar(!21.1% !)

1/4 tsp {1.5 g}

salt(!1.7% !)

7/8 tsp {4.4 g}

baking powder(!4.9% !)

Whisk ingredients vigourously until well blended.

Into the measuing cup with the 1 1/2 tbl of melted butter, add:

130 ml {134 g}

milk(!148.9% !)

{50 g} 1

egg(!55.6% !)

1/4 tsp {1.1 g}

vanilla extract(!1.2% !)

331 g 721 Calories

Total %%(!218 Calories/100g !)(!368%!)

Whisk liquids together until well blended.

Add to dry ingredients and whisk slightly until no dry flour remains.

Pour approx 1/4 batter into skillet and cook until bubbles start to pop. Flip and cook slightly longer until done, use colour to judge.
