30 ml {31 g}

tomato sauce

30 g

old cheddar cheese, grated

Ferment for 1 hour until doubled.

Portion into 50g buns, and roll flat into 12cm rounds.

Proof on 1/2 sheet pan, 6-8 per pan for 1 hour or until doubled.

Brush liberally with sauce and sprinkle cheese around, letting some cheese drape over into pan to create crusty bits.

Bake at 350F/176C for 25 minutes.

Try: Bake at 400F/204C for 20 minutes.
