Saag Paneer Curry
paneer, diced 1cm cubes. |

cumin seeds. |

medium onions, 5mm dice |

ginger garlic paste |

ground roasted corriander/cumin blend |

garam masala |

small green chili pepper diced. No seeds. (optional) or 1/2 t red chili powder |

small canned tomatoes, crushed. |
|
can of SAAG or Palak greens |

generous amount of kasoori methi (ground/crushed if possible to remove stems) add more to taste. |

Pan fry paneer in 2 T oil over medium heat and brown all sides. Add table salt to taste. Add cumin seeds during last 5 minutes or so. Reserve cheese.
Brown onions in 3 T oil. 15 minutes @ medium. to medium-heat Add ginger garlic paste and fry out 2-5 minutes.
Add spices + chile pepper if using.
Add tomato, cook 5 minutes.
Add Saag and kasoori methi and reserved cheese, cook until heated through.
Stir in cream.
