Spicy Asian Chicken Wings with Garlic and Oyster Sauce

Marinate at least overnight:

1000 g

chicken wings

56 g ~ 2 %

to 70 g ~ 2.5 %

to 84 g

oyster sauce (~3% salt)

4.37 g ( 1 1/3 tsp )

garlic powder

3.5 g ( 2 1/4 tsp )

chilli flakes

BBQ wings over medium heat until they release naturally.

Continue to BBQ until golden ~20-30 m.

  • oyster sauce = 835 mg sodium/ 19 g sauce = 43.94 mg Na/g sauce

  • oyster sauce = 19 g / 15 ml = 1.27 g/ml

  • sauce (g) = wing * .31 meat yield * .02 salt * 400 mg sodium/g salt / 43.94 mg/g oyster sauce

Tasty but needs more oyster sauce flavor but without the salt.
