1/2 cup {116 g}

soy sauce

1/4 cup {59 g}

water

2 TBL {30 g}

sweet rice wine

1 2/3 TBL 25 ml {15 g}

brown sugar

1/4 cup {50 g}

sugar

1 1/2 tsp {4.2 g}

minced garlic

1 1/2 tsp {3.0 g}

minced ginger

Directions Combine ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Glaze:

1/2 TBL {4.0 g}

cornstarch

1 TBL {15 g}

water

To make glaze: Mix 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water. Heat sauce on medium high heat and add cornstarch water mixture. Simmer until thickened.
